Joseph Clifford “Joe” Montana, Jr., (born June 11, 1956), nicknamed Joe Cool, Golden Joe and Comeback Joe,[ is a retired and iconic NFL player whose professional career in the National Football League (NFL) spanned the late 1970s through the mid-1990s. Montana started his NFL career in 1979 with the San Francisco 49ers, where he played quarterback (QB) for the next 14 seasons. He spent the 1993 and 1994 seasons, his final two years in the NFL, with the Kansas City Chiefs. While a member of the 49ers, Montana started four Super Bowl games and the team won all of them. In 2000, Montana was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

    I remember that game like it was last week. Winners know how to act and what to do. I have mentioned several times on my blog that sports create such a fun release for people. Losing a big game can make you despondent and winning can make you jump for joy. Great fun.

    I remember that Sunday also…I have been a huge Dallas Cowboy fan for over 40 years. I remember the Dallas/Green Bay ice bowl game, I even remember who I was watching it with that day.

    But that catch by Clark was a stake thru Dallas Cowboy fans’ hearts. As in one of the videos, I think it was Chris Berman, it was the end of 1 dynasty and the beginning of another.
