Yesterday I wrote about 36 Simple Ways To Reduce Stress, in my research about stress, I discovered these healthy foods that offer a subtle side-effect- they help relieve stress.

1. Oranges. A German study found vitamin C can help reduce stress and return blood pressure to normal levels, so foods like oranges are stress busters.

2. Avocados. They are packed with potassium, which helps lower blood pressure,

3. Nuts. pistachios and walnuts can have the same effect.

Bonus 1. Salmon. Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids, like salmon, help keep stress hormones at bay as well.

Bonus 2. Turkey and Sweet Potatoes. Try some Thanksgiving dinner if you’re feeling stressed. The tryptophan in the turkey is soothing, and sweet potatoes offer benefits too.
