Your Inspirational Quote Monday March 28 2011

Geraldine Ferraro, who in 1984 became the first woman vice presidential candidate on a major U.S. party ticket, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Boston.

She provided the path for Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton’s historic presidential bid in 2008 and Republican John McCain’s choice of a once obscure Alaska governor, Sarah Palin, as his running mate.

She obviously is a big part of American and in turn our history as the boomer generation. So in honor of her passing a couple quotes.

“I stand before you to proclaim tonight: America is the land where dreams can come true for all of us.”

“I do believe in the power of prayer.”

~Geraldine Ferraro
