I had listen to the MP3 of Pastor Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven® Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?
a few years ago, however I just finished reading “The 40 Days of Purpose (The Purpose Driven Life)” last week. Both have had a profound impact on my life, leaving me with the need to leave a legacy and fulfull God’s purpose for all of us…To be disciples for him (God).

Being the publisher of a baby boomer blog, obviously, I wanted to share that Rick Warren suffered a severe eye injury today, (see short article below) that even in his pain, he knew their was a higher purpose and reason for the injury (tweeting Romans 8:28).

["Baby Boomer Pastor Author Rick Warren tweeted Thursday that he recently suffered a severe eye injury:
"My eyes were severely burned by a toxic poison.Hospitalized Mon.Excruciating pain.Now home.Pray my sight loss is restored"

Warren was working in his garden Monday when he accidentally wiped the sap of a firestick plant into his eyes. He was hospitalized for those severe burns.

Larry Ross, Rick Warren's spokesman, said that Warren's doctors "expect 100% recovery," and Warren later tweeted that he is "not blind."

The famous pastor and author of "The Purpose Driven Life" found meaning in his torment, tweeting:
'May God use this pain for His Glory. Rom.8:28," quoting the passage in the Bible that says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.'"]
